Biometric Identity Verification Explicit Consent

Effective date: 27/10/2026 · Version 3

Within the scope of the Identity and Biometric Verification Privacy Notice provided by VISION VENTURES TEKNOLOJİ TASARIM VE PAZARLAMA ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Watchlabb”), I hereby state my preference regarding the biometric processing described below.

For the purpose of checking that I am the same person as the person on my identity document and that a live person is carrying out the process, I give my explicit consent under Article 6/3-a of KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) to the processing on Didit’s infrastructure of the facial photograph on the document, the selfie/facial image taken during verification and the liveness check records; to the derivation of biometric data from my facial features for face matching and liveness assessment; and to the use of that data for these purposes.

This consent is not given for advertising, marketing, independent model training or general facial searches outside the purpose of this verification. A user’s acceptance of other agreements on the site does not replace this specific consent.

The planned 30-day retention period for raw verification session records, and the possibility that the necessary verification summary may be kept at Watchlabb for a different period, are explained separately in the privacy notice. This consent does not replace the legal safeguards required for regular transfers abroad.

I may withdraw my consent with effect for the future via destek@watchlabb.com. I may also submit a request for a non-biometric assessment through this channel; the request is reviewed in the light of the security purpose and the options that are practicable. I understand that functions requiring identity verification may not be available until verification is completed.

My use of the “I consent and start” button, together with the biometric data processing preference stated right next to it, is intended to give this explicit consent. Consent is obtained before verification begins; taking no action, closing the window or merely viewing the privacy notice does not count as consent.
